This ministry seeks to nurture in the community consciousness a commitment to a life of justice and service rooted in our faith in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures and Catholic social teaching. It endeavors to empower the community to work for justice and peace through concrete efforts addressing the causes of human suffering. It strives to affirm and protect all human life as a gift from God, including the unborn, the poor, the disadvantaged and the elderly.

Committees include:

  • Social Justice – Pat Schug
  • Project Feed the Hungry collaborates with the New Hope Church in Dayton to help provide access to food to those in need – Noel Kupras-Bauer
  • House of Bread -Volunteers run this 365-day community kitchen to help provide access to food to those in need- Maureen Josenhaus
  • Outreach tithes 10% of our collection to local organizations- Pat Dolan
  • Catch the Building Spirit helps to build a home through Habitat for Humanity each year- Jim McGee
